President Gordon B. Hinckley

LDS Church President Gordon B. Hinckley has died. He was 97 years old.President Gordon B. Hinckley, world leader of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was ordained and set apart as the 15th President of the Church on Sunday, March 12, 1995. He had earlier served 14 years as a counselor in the First Presidency, the top governing body of the Church, and as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles for 20 years prior to that. President Hinckley married Marjorie Pay in the Salt Lake Temple in 1937. They have five children. Sister Hinckley passed away 6 April 2004. The funniest joke I've ever heard..

I have a hilarious teacher in Driver's Ed. Everyday he has a humor of the day thing and he reads a joke or tells a funny story or something like that. This one has been my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE so far. I mean, this teacher is all "tough-guy" and everything, but he was laughing so hard when he read is that he started squeaking. Downright HILARIOUS!

It is with the saddest heart that I pass on the following news.

Please join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment community.

The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection, and complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71.

Doughboy is survived by his wife, Play Dough, two children, John Dough and Jane Dough, who has a bun in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly father, Pop Tart.

Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Buttersworth, Hungry Jack, The California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies and Captain Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours.

Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy, and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded. Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a very smart "cookie", wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes.

Despite being a little flaky at times, he still, as a crusty old man, was considered a roll model for millions.

The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.

Woohoo

Why does black and white make most pictures look SO much better?
Beats me.
I love it though.

TAGGED - Top 10 Favorite Pictures

Okay, so yeah. This was one of the hardest things to do. I have so many pictures I like, it's almost impossible to choose just ten. But somehow I managed to do so. Haha.

I don't know who all reads my blog, so I'll just tag anyone who wants to do it. =]

Park

I went to the park yesterday with one of my friends and had some fun with my camera. Unfortunately, I have an incredibly old version of photoshop so some of the pictures lost their quality. Enjoy, anyway! =]
